And they say, when you enter the working world, you'd prefer school all over agian.

Work today was a whole new experience. I followed an engineer and mechanic onboard a vessel at a shipyard at tuas. The vessel was 'high and dry', meaning it was docked, not on the sea already.

So we went into the engine room. Incase you didnt know, engine room entrances are always found on the floor. So imagine opening a door on the floor and walk down. The engine room was small. Crampy, hot, and lack of ventilation. And because of that, we had to leave the door open for air to enter, the afternoon sun was directly upon us. Inside was hot, we go outside, also hot. Either way, it was hot. So I got drenched in sweat by the time we finished work.

So anyway, at one time during work, I bended down to do some spanner work, my phone dropped out of my chest pocket (which was sealed by velcro) into the bilge water inside the engine room! Bilge water is either rainwater, seawater, oil, or mixture of all. And the place was like a drain.

The mechanic dug out my phone for me, and it was all oily over. And it's spoiled! Damn lousy day for me. Almost had heat stroke, lack of oxygen, and phone spoil.

Work sucks, seriously.
